A Home Remodel, Montauk-Style
Originally constructed in the 1980s as an English Tudor, this stunning property underwent an extensive 18-month renovation to become a modern Montauk-style masterpiece. The residence is aptly named “Calibu,” a tribute to its exceptional location, ideally positioned between Calabasas and Malibu. To add to the property’s already impressive stature, Jennifer has even launched her own Calibu brand wine, providing an additional touch of luxury. Partnering with the International Surface Event (TISE), Jennifer has crafted a show home that is certain to inspire and please.

Have you ever dreamed of building your own vineyard? Jennifer Farrell had this romantic notion in mind when creating the Calibu Vineyard Showhome. Partnering with TISE, this breathtaking showhome is a tribute to her love for wine, the South of France, and the vineyard lifestyle. Farrell is a Francophile and wine lover, and her passion for these elements is evident throughout the showhome’s design.

The result is a unique blend of traditionalism and modernity, with Farrell dubbed the renovation style “Modern Montauk.” The original home, built in the 1980s with an English Tudor style, has undergone a stunning transformation. Farrell aimed to keep the house’s footprint and most of the layout while adding modern touches. As part of a two-story living room, intricate wood paneling in the 20-foot high room will receive chalky, crisp white paint to change the room’s look completely. Modern lighting contrasts with traditional walls, and many old traditional elements have been reimagined in a very modern way. It showcases some of the project’s most exciting and unique aspects, including floor-to-ceiling windows.

Farrell is also excited about the home’s 1,000 square foot tasting room. It is a welcoming area of the residence dedicated to relaxing and testing the sophisticated wines from Calibu’s Vineyard.
This tasting room is an elegant gem tucked away in the corner of the estate with a bar and comfortable seating. In addition, there is a gaming area with custom billiards and ping pong tables from 11 Ravens. The tasting room is the perfect place to relax and will quickly prove one of the most popular gathering places on the property!
